The band released another compilation album on November 2 called Icon, in preparation for their upcoming comeback album. Icon featured the same track listing as their previous compilation album The Singles 1992–2003 albeit with new artwork and a low price point. No Doubt is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1986. For most of their career, the band has consisted of vocalist Gwen Stefani, guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal, and drummer Adrian Young. Since the mid-1990s, they were supported by trombonist and keyboardist Gabrial McNair and trumpeter and keyboardist Stephen Bradley in live performances. “When they started dating, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” a source spilled shortly after Valentine’s Day last month.
“So we always talked about it, of course, and I think that as the years were going by, it didn’t need to happen. There was a lot of healing to do.” Shelton shared the same post with a sweet caption of his own. Shelton and Stefani took their love song public when they performed it at the 2020 Grammys, and it eventually became their first to go No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart. Album onstage at Shelton’s UnitedFlirtingStates March 22, 2019 show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, the singer gave it a long smooch and declared, “She is awesome! And hot! I haven’t seen her in a couple weeks, so …” Shelton told Billboard in 2016, “Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician? You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces.”
Dumont still plays music as part of the aforementioned band DREAMCAR, but he also dedicates much of his time to photography, often taking photos of musicians while performing, including Matt Costa and Tyler, the Creator. Dumonthas said on Instagram “I’d love to do one more No Doubt tour, but it feels like that ain’t gonna happen. It’s bittersweet. In any case, what great memories.” Most No Doubt fans are familiar with its core four members, but the band was actually started by Gwen Stefani’s older brother, Eric Stefani. Eric was not with the band for long, though, as he was frustrated creatively. Eric went on to pursue a career in animation, and is known for his work on The Simpsons and The Ren & Stimpy Show.
The band gets backs to basics with Push and Shove, blending the ’80s pop sounds of Southern California with ska, dubstep and reggae. “We want to sound modern,” Kanal told Rolling Stone last month. Billboard’s Andrew Hampp says, “Listening to Push And Shove, the group’s fifth studio album, and it’s often difficult to tell where the time went.” Maybe it’s the comfort of familiar faces and old love that keeps the blonde bombshell grounded. Stefani and Kamal’s romance blossomed in the first days of No Doubt. She had dreams of marrying the bassist, but those were shattered when he ended their relationship in 1994.

“I got kidnapped by family to celebrate that I’m getting married!” Stefani says in a video post she shares to her Instagram Stories, adding in another post that she’s “feeling loved, feeling blessed.” The couple made their official red carpet debut when they attend the Vanity Fair Oscar party together, looking stunning, with Stefani rocking a fiery red dress and Shelton dressing up for the occasion in a black blazer and dark jeans. “I love @blakeshelton, but OMG, the media needs to chill out with his dating life,” user @janine_janocik tweets. “The guy is moving on. #findsomethingelsetotalkabout.” A rep for Sheltonconfirms to ET these two are an item. Additionally, a rep for Stefani confirms the news, saying, “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.”

And The Sweet Escape in 2004 and 2006, respectively, Stefani proved a seamless transition from pop-leaning rock into a purely pop sound was totally doable. Then she surprisingly disappeared for a long time — in 2014 she released two singles “Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark the Fire”, but then scrapped the whole album she was working on. Now, in 2016, Stefani is finally gearing up to release her official follow-up to The Sweet Escape, called This Is What the Truth Feels Like . With Tragic Kingdom , No Doubt emerged as a leading force in popular music. Their distinctive sound—with flavors of ska, punk and pop—won over many new fans. Reaching the top of the album charts in late 1996, the recording’s success was driven in part by the hit single “Just a Girl,” with its video helping to make Stefani both a fashion icon and a star.

“This is Gwen Stefani, everybody!” Shelton excitedly told the crowd after the performance, per a fan video shared on YouTube. Following a hiatus from creating new material, in October 2015, Stefani debuted the single “Used to Love You,” ahead of the March 2016 release of This Is What the Truth Feels Like. He plans to do the 311 version of the Cure’s “Lovesong.” That way he gets to stink it up the way he likes best, by layering it with reggae. OVER, DO YOU HEAR ME?” But either way she manages to make him not do it. And it’s a subdued performance–even his hair is lying down, half asleep, not about to get into a competition with Robert Smith. She had some fun with the video announcement by including fellow season 22 coaches Shelton and John Legend in the video as the trio sang along to “Grace Kelly” by Mika. They came one step closer on July 1, when news broke they’d picked up a marriage license in Oklahoma. Stefani again returned to The Voice for the show’s 19th season after taking a hiatus from the judge’s chair the previous season. “Everyone is thrilled because they’re both incredibly nice people,” added the source. Stefani added it was “unbelievable that God would put us in a position to have each other at that moment, in the same exact moment.” She also noted that she “wasn’t trying to start a relationship,” it just happened.
